Shades That Complement Every Skin Tone!

Today's post is gonna be about tones that would enhance our natural beauty depending on our skin color. Since i know how  sometimes we can find ourselves scared of trying new things, thinking it would look ridiculous on us; this happens to me a lot and the only way of really knowing what works and what doesnt its to try it out!  And i also know how hard it could be sometimes to find that perfect shade of blush, or lipstick, or liner, etc
So let's go ahead and  get started right away!!

1) PEACHy BLUSH
Unlike pink cheek colors, which can easily veer into Barbie or frosty territory, "a peach blush with a little shimmer marries perfectly with every skin tone,"  And a very awesome trick on how to wear a peachy blush properly is: In women with fair skin it should be worn  right on the apples of their cheeks, while those with darker skin should move the placement up to the cheekbones "so it's more of a highlighter,"

2) NAVY EYELINER
This is the secret to making eyes look awake, no matter what your skin tone is. "The deep blue will emphasize the whites of your eyes so they're instantly brighter,"  and i personally would  recommends a pencil or a cream liner as instead of a liquid: Since this one doesn't always read as a true navy.

3) GOLD EYE SHADOW

This is the perfect metallic shade for everyone. Always pick a shimmery one Since a matte gold would appear chalky on those with darker skin.

4) TRUE RED LIPSTICK

Who says we cant all rock that glamorous old-Hollywood look, just keep in mind that you should go with a true red shade.(think primary Crayola red)
5) BRONZER
We can all get some benefit from the warmth of a little bronzer; especially now that's  winter time . Bronzers with a little bit touch of shimmer,  i'd say will work on everyone. But of course women with different skin tones should wear it in different ways. On black women, bronzer is more like a highlighter, that said they should apply it on the tops of the cheekbones. On fair and medium skin, women should lightly put it everywhere the sun naturally would  hit: temples, cheeks, and chin. Plus you can even wear it as an eye shadow! (just remember matte peachy would also look chalky on those with darker skin).

6) SHEER ROSY LIP GLOSS
You can't go wrong with a rosy pink lip gloss. The reason why is: It will look like most people's natural lip color, but it's flattering even if it's not.

7) BROWN EYE SHADOW QUAD
The kind that has a range of shades from taupe to espresso can be adapted for every skin tone to define and complement the eyes. Women with fair skin can create soft or smoky looks, while those with dark skin can use the light shades as a highlighter under the brows and the deeper browns on the lids as an everyday shadow.
8)TURQUOISE EYELINER
It may be surprising to see the bright color on this list, "but it's a playful shade that will make a statement on every color of skin and the darker the complexion, the more vibrant the color will show!.
9) SHIMMERY DEEP BRONZE EYE SHADOW
When you want something a little more festive than your basic neutrals, a sparkly deep bronze shadow is the way to go! Since is an evening look that works on everyone,Because it's an, id say dramatic version of a brown and all skin tones can pull it off , either on the lids or in the crease.

10) Purple eyeshadow
Yh, i know it sound a little crazy also but believe it or not it does complement every single skin tones from fair skin, to olive, and even more on darker shades, Now here i am talking about a true purple like Nars in daphne.

Hope you all liked this little guide of color and that it will be helpful to many out there! :)

Salon Express Nail Art Stamping Kit **Review**

So here i am, once again... lol
A few days ago i picked up at the store the Nail Stamping Kit from Salon Express, i had seen it before on tv and on my state fair, but i wasnt too sure about since not everything that shines its gold, or at least thats what my grandma would say, hahaha. Anyway i saw it and it was only $10, so i said to myself:  "why not?"
It comes with five (5) different design plates ( they r way too cute), a little scraper thingy, a plate holder and a stamper (which is what transfer the design from the plate to your nails!.

I gotta be honest the 1st time i ever tried i was sooo disappointed, i was all excited to try my new toy but bleh it didnt work at all; But thanks God for internet, i did a little bit of a research and i find out that to protect the plates from scratches, they come with a film on then as you'll see in the next pic), all you have to do is carefully peel it off, and that's it! :D

Second try went a little more smooth since this time i had already gained some experience , but it still didnt came out perfect, you need to be quick and precise, also if you use thicker Nail polishes it will work better ( Not old ones just the ones that are meant to be for nail art, since they really has a thicker consistency) .
I did try the plate on the picture above and it failed BIG time! i was so mad and still am, because one of the motives are stars! and they would look oh so cute!
Oh well maybe i just need a little more practice with this one. :)

Anyway... this is the ones that did work for me.

Arent they just so cute!!
Now i just need to let my nails grow a little, or maybe alot, hahaha. And let the fun begin!

Pros:
*Cute Designs.
*inexpensive.
*DIY
*Easy to Clean up. ( just use N. Polish Remover)

Cons:
*Not as Easy to do as advertised.
*Not all the plates give you a nice stamp.

Would i buy it again?
I dont think so.
Would i  recommend it to a friend?
yes, but ill let them know about how it isn't as easy as it looks. :)

Thx for reading..
