Review: Rimmel London Lasting Finish 25 Hour Foundation

I finally got to try out the The Rimmel London Lasting Finish 25 Hour foundation after about a couple of  weeks of it just roaming around my makeup kit.
Going back to a couple of weeks ago, i was determinate to find a foundation that would offer me both : Quality and a great price. After hours of search (yes! hours, when it comes to make up, i like taking my time. Reading ingredients, and pretty much any info i might find in the packaging) Right next to the Rimmel Stay Matte powder foundation, which i have been wanting to try for the longest time, there it was... It comes in six different shades and even though it was extremely easy for me to find my perfect match ( I wear a 200/ Soft Beige) I do believe, they r lacking in darker/deeper tones.

The packaging was alright, just a 1 Fl. Oz tube. Nothing fancy but 1000x better than the glass bottles with no pump. You get good control of how much product you want out.
I was definitely sold after i read that it was Sweat, heat and humidity proof for up to 25 hours! And that it was "enriched with a revitalizing mineral complex and moisturizing aqua primer, making the skin feel energized and hydrated all day"
To that last statement i can give my word that it is totally true, I could not believe how great my skin felt after I applied it! This foundation is soooo light, It did not feel like I had anything on! My skin was definitely breathing through it. The coverage was great for a day time/ everyday foundation, it's not full coverage , and it you have blemishes like I did, the first time I tried it, they will start peaking through in with in a few hours, for me it was around four hours but take in consideration that even though I was out and about, it was only 36-39 * F out!

I am really happy with The overall look of this product once applied, my face didn't look or feel cakey , nor shiny not even at the end of day ( 9 hours after application!! ) . It didn't sink into my fine lines/expression lines until after the first 4 hours but it was not anything crazy just a tiny little bit, like I said above at the end of the day it was looking great and I did not once retouched my makeup that day.

I think this is a great foundation, at a great price (it only goes for $7.49) and will definitely be a staple in my kit for now on!!

How to: 5 Easy Steps to Perfect Eyebrows TUTORIAL

Eyebrows are one of the most important part of a successful  makeup, since they are frame of your eyes. No matter how great your eye shadow or foundation application is, your eyebrows have the power of either make or brake you whole makeup look. So today I decided to share a  very easy and fast  step by step of: How I do my Eyebrows.

Let's Get started:

1) The first thing I do is: Comb my brows.

2) I grab either a brow pencil or a brown gel liner. (Never use black, no matter how dark your hair might be) Then starting on the base of the brow and leaving about a 1/4 free of color in the inner corner, I go ahead a draw the arch of it. (Follow figure A.)
After that i basically do the same at the top. Making sure that i don't outline the eyebrow, since i'm not trying to make them thicker, I just want to define them. (Follow Figure B)

3) Then I go ahead and comb my eyebrow through, this step will help me blend any harsh lines (follow fig. A).
Next I take my favorite brow kit (E.L.F Eyebrow Kit in medium) and only using the powder part of it, I apply it all over my brows  (Including that first 1/4 in which I did not put any product earlier) with the help of an angle brush. (Follow fig. B). after that i comb them once again.

4) For this step I use a synthetic brush and my glamouflage concealer from Hard Candy to outline my brow (top and base of it - Follow fig. A and B) This step is going to get rid of any mistakes I might have done and it will also help me shape them to my liking at the same time as it highlights my eyes.Last but not least: Blend, Blend, Blend!! (Fig. C)

5) The final result... defined yet soft looking brows!!

Hello Lovelies!
If you follow my page on Facebook: Makeup By Mile you should know that i am not just a makeup junkie but a crazy MakeupHolic! And yh i do need help! lol.
So Today i'm bringing you guys this little review of a few products from LASplash Cosmetics that i got about a week ago in the mail... I got a couple of eye shadows, a Mascara and a Lip gloss (as u will see in the picture down below).  I am so happy and excited to be one of the very first ones on trying out this pretties! As i just said a few lines up anything makeup Related totally drives me nuts!.

Let's go ahead and start going thru everything i got!

First lets talk about the eye shadows! since this are definitely my all the time most favorite Makeup item, like seriously i can never have enough of them on my train case, and every time i go Shopping, no matter how hard i try to set my mind on getting different stuff... Meaning Foundation, lipsticks, eyeliners, etc. I always ended up looking at shadows and getting them!
Anyways, im sorry im getting a little carried away,So let's get back to what we are here for...

So the 1st one i'll talk about is a highlighter shade from their line named Illuminating, i got it on Exposed and you can get it right Here! for only $5.99!

And let me tell you this; You wont regret this purchase, even tho its a powder, this shadow is sooooo creamy and shimmery! It helps you blend even the darker colors very easily and you can find it in five (5) other colors
( So you can go thru them to see what works best for your skin color)
I would give this Product an eleven out of 10! that's how much i'm in love with this shade!

The other Eye shadow i got is a Duo Set from their Glamorous Intense Pigment eye Shadow Line.
I got it in Egyptian Queen; A beautiful Royal Purple and a Golden tone (Loveeeeeeee this one). And you can get it Right here! for only $5.99 Also!
This line has ten different Duos! and the Color combos are all A.M.A.Z.I.N.G!!
The Colors are very bright and yet very blendable!

Here are the Swatches from Egyptian Queen:

The Next Product is a Lip Gloss from their Diamond Dust Sparkle Line.

I got it on Flirt, and is a cute and girly pinky shade with glitter Dust on it!, it felt really good on my lips and stayed on for quite a bit of time,  i must say its a sheer color so you might want to use it to enhance another lip stick, although if you are going for a more natural everyday look, wearing alone work great too!. :)
They also have it in fourteen different shades! and you can get it here! for  $6.99
Here is a picture of it in action!

And last but not least... I got a Mascara and what i love the most about this Mascara is that is Purple!!
And its from their Metallic Mascara line.

I got it on Purple Splash! and you can get it right Here! for only $6.99
They also have it in 17 other different colors and its water proof!!!!
It did seem to make my lashes a little clumpy but i decided to give it another try ( which i will be posting a pic of on my FB page Makeup by Mile. So be in the look out for that! :)

E.L.F Beauty eye Manual, ** Bright Eye Edition** REVIEW

The post of today is a review of the E.L.F Beauty eye Manual, ** Bright Eye Edition**, which was requested by a few of my followers on my FB page.
Let's start by talking about the packaging; It comes in a book like presentation, easy to carry along with you, perfect to take with you on a little trip/vacay.

As you open it, you will find a few sheets (if we could call them that) with "How to" tips For day and night looks, which i think its pretty cool! Specially for us the newbies! :)

and also it brings four (4)  Eye charts, so you can Practice or keep track of a look you might have created and you just dont want to forget how you did it!, has happened to me soo many times! lool

It Brings twelve (12) good size eye shadows, that go from Nude tones to more colorful ones, most of then with some sort of shimmer in them, actually i am gonna go ahead and describe them one by one (from left to right):
The 1st color is a Shimmery white with silver under tone to it.
The 2nd color is a very light Shimmery brown (which i found awfully similar to the fourth and fifth color)
The 3th color is a Pale Rose.
The 4th color---> look back color number two.
The 5th color---> ^ Ditto.
The 6th color is one of my Favorites, its just a Olive Green with a golden  under tone to it.
The 7th color is a turquoise Blue.
The 8th color is a dark brown.
The 9th color is very light grey.
The 10th color is a Purple.
The 11th color is a Red which i like very much.
And last but not least the 12th color which is a Black with silver Shimmer to it. :)

The kit also brings a good size mirror,a mini Eye liner and an applicator for the Eye shadows.

I was so excited to get this palette on the mail, Specially since i totally love E.L.F but it truly disappointed me when i first tried it ;
The pigmentation is just not there (only a few of then have a barely decent pigmentation) .
Some of the colors seem kinda chalky, and clumpy, the first three colors have so little pigmentation that all you can see is glitter , although the fourth and fifth are very beautiful shades.
The green, blue, purple  gray and red are pretty decent, those are pretty bright, but the black is horrible, i would describe it more as a gray.

But oh well for $5 bucks there is not much to be expected.
Here are the swatches:

Colors are also a little clumpy. :(

They seen to crease very easily, even with the use of a primer.
I dont think i would be using this product anymore since it made my eyes turn red and water a lot (but i think this happened because i used the black shade on my lid and the glitters on this shadow are super big, so i think that it might have fallen on my eyes and caused the irritation) , therefor  of course i would not recommend this to a friend.
I do like the eyeliner thought. :)

I hope you guys found this review helpful, also dont forget to Subscribe and comment. :)
But before i go, here is a lil look i created with this palette. :)

Bye for Now.
