Review: Rimmel London Lasting Finish 25 Hour Foundation

I finally got to try out the The Rimmel London Lasting Finish 25 Hour foundation after about a couple of  weeks of it just roaming around my makeup kit.
Going back to a couple of weeks ago, i was determinate to find a foundation that would offer me both : Quality and a great price. After hours of search (yes! hours, when it comes to make up, i like taking my time. Reading ingredients, and pretty much any info i might find in the packaging) Right next to the Rimmel Stay Matte powder foundation, which i have been wanting to try for the longest time, there it was... It comes in six different shades and even though it was extremely easy for me to find my perfect match ( I wear a 200/ Soft Beige) I do believe, they r lacking in darker/deeper tones.

The packaging was alright, just a 1 Fl. Oz tube. Nothing fancy but 1000x better than the glass bottles with no pump. You get good control of how much product you want out.
I was definitely sold after i read that it was Sweat, heat and humidity proof for up to 25 hours! And that it was "enriched with a revitalizing mineral complex and moisturizing aqua primer, making the skin feel energized and hydrated all day"
To that last statement i can give my word that it is totally true, I could not believe how great my skin felt after I applied it! This foundation is soooo light, It did not feel like I had anything on! My skin was definitely breathing through it. The coverage was great for a day time/ everyday foundation, it's not full coverage , and it you have blemishes like I did, the first time I tried it, they will start peaking through in with in a few hours, for me it was around four hours but take in consideration that even though I was out and about, it was only 36-39 * F out!

I am really happy with The overall look of this product once applied, my face didn't look or feel cakey , nor shiny not even at the end of day ( 9 hours after application!! ) . It didn't sink into my fine lines/expression lines until after the first 4 hours but it was not anything crazy just a tiny little bit, like I said above at the end of the day it was looking great and I did not once retouched my makeup that day.

I think this is a great foundation, at a great price (it only goes for $7.49) and will definitely be a staple in my kit for now on!!

Kiss Nail Dress Kit REVIEW

If you guys have been following me in my other networks for a while, you would know how much into Makeup and Nails i am but as a Mom of a toddler myself, I no longer have the time to religiously do my nails and toes anymore. I mean, don't get me wrong, i still do it here and there but not like i used to. Now is more of a : well if I can squeeze in this week great and  if not, that's fine too.
well a couple of weeks ago i received a Kiss Nail Dress Kit in the mail, thanks to Influenster.
So Of course i was pretty excited as soon as i saw them inside of my Holiday VoxBox.

Anyway... A few days later i was ready to give them a try.

The ones i got were the: KDS03WG ( i know, there's no names. :(  just This looooong codes!

When you first open up the box you will find three sheets of nail decals with 28 strips in 14 different sizes, you might be wondering 14 sizes??? what for?? and well that's just to make sure you will be able to match them up with your nails perfectly, you will also find a small file to help you smooth out and shape the edges of your nail stickers,  and last but not least: A little booklet with instructions, tips and all the other designs available.

As for the application steps, they are basically the same as the polish strips; You place the sticker on your finger-nail or toe-nail, pressing down on it and smoothing out any wrinkles or bubbles if any, folding down the strip and then just buffing off whatever is left of it. Although this last step seems to be a bit harder for the Kiss Nail Dress, since they are so thick (compared to the polish strips) and specially if the design you chose had rhinestones in it.

The Strips themselves were made out of some sort of plastic like material, really thick and hard to rip.
The downside to that is: that if you look at them up close, you would definitely be able to tell that these are in fact stickers. But i mean there really is not that much room to complaint, being that they do deliver a nice Mani/Pedi in within minutes, for the fraction of the price (as  they go for only $6.99 USD ) , no waiting for polish to dry, Oh! and when you are ready for something new on your nails, you just peel them off! That's right! no nail polish remover is needed!

They do stick pretty well on their own, but after a few days of wear they start to lift up around the edges.

And of course, before i go... Here is a pic of my mani!

Montagne Jeunesse Chocolate Masque Review

Today i decided to finally give a try to the Montagne Jeunesse Chocolate Masque, that i received in the Holidady VoxBox from Influenster.
I have tried many of their masks in the past but never really gotten a hold of this particular one.
When I opened up the sachet, the first thing that hit me was how incredibly good it smelled, i just wanted to eat it!!! Not just did it smelled like chocolate, it also looked like it! Yum!

I squeezed out some of it and applied it onto my face. It went on really smoothly but you kinda have to work it quickly, thru out your whole face, because it does starts to dry out pretty fast.
I left it on for about a half an hour, until it was completely dry.
Anyway... I rinsed off the mask with warm water and the help of a washcloth and once it was completely off i went a head i gave myself a splash of cold water. One more time Montagne Jeunesse did not disappointed me I could definitely tell my face was looking and feeling great, it was very soft and fresh, my pores got a bit smaller, flakiness was also gone and my face was definitely glowy, I felt like those girls in the skincare commercials,  hahahaha.

Not bad for a mask that is less than $2 USD! If you ask me.
And just a little secret in between us: I can never find myself to use a whole sachet in just one application, so next week my skin will be receiving another doses of chocolate goodness! yay!

EBOOST Natural Energy Review!

Earlier this month after a very long wait, i finally got in the mail my Influenster Holiday Voxbox 2012, and one of the goodies i found inside was an EBOOST sample .

I was inmediadtly excited  since i am very into all this type of water enhancer powders.
I am also very curious/cautious about the stuff that i drink/eat/wear. so i went a head a did my own research to see exactly what i was getting myself into before i even tried it...
Well i found out that not just is an all natural product but that it also offers a bit more than any other product of this kind in the market at the moment! They claim to have goodies as:  Vitamin B-12, Vitamin c, Vitamin D, Green tea, Acid Folic (that has so many benefits), Quercetin, 5-HTP, Resveratrol, huperzine-A, among other things all compacted into one little envelope! I also found that the EBOOST is sweeten with Stevia  which is a plant not a chemical! and that its Gluten and Soy Free!
Anyway... it comes in two presentations: As an easy to mix powder and as a shot. And in four different flavors:  Orange, Pink Lemonade, Acai Pomegranate and Super Berry.

Ok, now... lets go on to my personal experience:
I purred my Pink Lemonade mix into a 12Oz. glass and let it sit for a few seconds to allow it to effervesce,

and then i also added a couple of ice cubes, just so it was chilled, because i am not a big fan of room temperature drinks. ( but i guess that its really up to your personal choice).
Make sure you also stir it up, to make sure the powder is completely dissolved into the water, before you start drinking it.

The first thing in my mind as i took the first sip was: " Wow!! this thing tastes great!!". It was seriously just like having a real lemonade, way better tasting that those fake ones you get at restaurants and off course way better for you!. This doesn't happen very often where as the stuff that's good for you tastes better than the junk! and it totally comes from EBOOST not having any artificial flavors added!
Sugar wise, in my opinion it was sweeten perfectly , it was a happy medium, not too much to be overwhelming or too little to be too tangy or bitter.

Excuse my washed out face. (No makeup for this girl this morning! :)

It took about 15 minutes for me to start feeling more energized! I can totally see how this would help you not just in your regular life to keep up with the busy days but as a way to keep your workout on point and just make it easier and more enjoyable for yourself. I was literally bouncing off the walls with my little one, we danced and chased each other all over the house! hahahha

But anyway before i get off topic, i'd like to say that this "boost" Lasted for about four hours, and then i started to slow down, did not get sleepy, just simply started to be my old self, lol.

I think this would definitely be worth the investment, and when i say investment .. i mean it, since it can get a bit pricey if you plan in consume it on a daily basis. As it goes for $28 for a box of 20 ct. and $39 for a box of 30 ct. of the effervescent powders. Or $39 for a box of 12ct. shots!

The only thing i am not too crazy about is that it does contains Caffeine (which is what keeps you awake!)
But at the same time i think all the Minerals, Vitamins and super-Nutrients balanced out everything.

I can also see it being a huge help to reach my Workout goals, keeping my momentum everyday, in other words, giving me the energy to actually want to do it!

Overall, i think i would definitely purchase this in the future and not just that, but i would also recommend it to friends.
This puppy gets a 9 out of 10 Score, from me!

Once again, thank you so much for visiting my blog! dont forget to Subscribe up there, so you dont miss any of my updates!
Hope you enjoy the reading.
Big Kisses.

My Influenster Holiday VoxBox 2012 is here!!!!

So... i joined Influenster probably about a year ago, and even tho i have pre-qualified for a few VoxBoxes i had never actually gotten picked to get one until last month!
In early Dec i got an email from them telling me that i was gonna be getting the Holiday VoxBox 2012, so you can only imagine how excited and pumped i was about it!!

It took a while to get to me (a little over a month) but when it finally did (Today) , I really couldn't contain my happiness because It was loaded with so many amazing things!

Anyway... Let's go over each and every one of the goodies i got!!

When i first opened up my box, the first thing that totally caught my eye was the Kiss Nail Dress, which are basically Nail stickers with beautiful patterns and rhinestones , that give you a perfect mani for less the $$$ and less the time as well! (and time saving is definitely a huge plus for me, being a mommy of an 19 month old, im always on the go! lol)

I also got a full size Liquid Lipshine from NYC Cosmetics  in a beautiful "nudey" shade, its actually called "Nude York City!"  Clever, huh? lol

In between all this amazing stuff i also found a familiar Face! i got a Montagne Jeunesse Anti Stress Chocolate Masque and even though i have never tried this particular one, i am very familiar with the brand and to be more specific with this masks. :)

The next thing i pulled out of this magic box was a weird yet cool looking  brush. It was the Goody QuickStyle Paddle Brush which claims to remove up to 30% of the water on you hair as you style it! I am so deeply excited to try this puppy, i cant even tell you guys, so expect a review some time real soon! :)

Then i found a pretty amazing offer from Sole Society, which is one of those shoe Memberships where you get great quality shoes for an amazing deal. But, yh.. i got a $25 Off my first purchase but the best thing is that anyone can use it! (and by anyone... i mean YOU GUYS!! :D) All you need is this code: INFLUENSTER25
But hurry because this offer ends on Jan 31st!!

I also was sent a Quaker Real Medleys Oatmeal for me to try! i got it in Peach Almond flavor... YUM! that is all i got say about this! hehehe
Im pretty sure my little man will be all over it as well.

And last but not least i got a sample of EBOOST, an all natural energizing effervescent powder that you mix with water.
It claims to Boost your mood as well as your immunity  and help you focus through out the day. So i guess we Shall see how this goes! :) (Gotta get rid of this Mommy Brain! hahaha)

I am sooo pumped to finally try all this goodies and bring you guys my thoughts on each and every one of them!! So again, be on the look out for Reviews, reviews, Reviews!!

E.L.F Beauty eye Manual, ** Bright Eye Edition** REVIEW

The post of today is a review of the E.L.F Beauty eye Manual, ** Bright Eye Edition**, which was requested by a few of my followers on my FB page.
Let's start by talking about the packaging; It comes in a book like presentation, easy to carry along with you, perfect to take with you on a little trip/vacay.

As you open it, you will find a few sheets (if we could call them that) with "How to" tips For day and night looks, which i think its pretty cool! Specially for us the newbies! :)

and also it brings four (4)  Eye charts, so you can Practice or keep track of a look you might have created and you just dont want to forget how you did it!, has happened to me soo many times! lool

It Brings twelve (12) good size eye shadows, that go from Nude tones to more colorful ones, most of then with some sort of shimmer in them, actually i am gonna go ahead and describe them one by one (from left to right):
The 1st color is a Shimmery white with silver under tone to it.
The 2nd color is a very light Shimmery brown (which i found awfully similar to the fourth and fifth color)
The 3th color is a Pale Rose.
The 4th color---> look back color number two.
The 5th color---> ^ Ditto.
The 6th color is one of my Favorites, its just a Olive Green with a golden  under tone to it.
The 7th color is a turquoise Blue.
The 8th color is a dark brown.
The 9th color is very light grey.
The 10th color is a Purple.
The 11th color is a Red which i like very much.
And last but not least the 12th color which is a Black with silver Shimmer to it. :)

The kit also brings a good size mirror,a mini Eye liner and an applicator for the Eye shadows.

I was so excited to get this palette on the mail, Specially since i totally love E.L.F but it truly disappointed me when i first tried it ;
The pigmentation is just not there (only a few of then have a barely decent pigmentation) .
Some of the colors seem kinda chalky, and clumpy, the first three colors have so little pigmentation that all you can see is glitter , although the fourth and fifth are very beautiful shades.
The green, blue, purple  gray and red are pretty decent, those are pretty bright, but the black is horrible, i would describe it more as a gray.

But oh well for $5 bucks there is not much to be expected.
Here are the swatches:

Colors are also a little clumpy. :(

They seen to crease very easily, even with the use of a primer.
I dont think i would be using this product anymore since it made my eyes turn red and water a lot (but i think this happened because i used the black shade on my lid and the glitters on this shadow are super big, so i think that it might have fallen on my eyes and caused the irritation) , therefor  of course i would not recommend this to a friend.
I do like the eyeliner thought. :)

I hope you guys found this review helpful, also dont forget to Subscribe and comment. :)
But before i go, here is a lil look i created with this palette. :)

Bye for Now.
